Your policy renews automatically before it expires, so you don’t usually need to do anything to keep your cover active.

What happens when my policy is due for renewal

We’ll renew your policy automatically using the details you’ve already given us.

You’ll receive a renewal email around 14 days before your policy is due to renew. It will include:

• Your renewal price
• How to view your renewal documents in the Marshmallow app
• How to cancel if you don’t want to renew

How do I pay for renewal

If you paid in full for your current policy:

• We’ll charge your saved card one day before your renewal date.
• If the payment doesn’t go through, we’ll email you an invoice. You can pay this manually before your renewal date using the same or a different card.

If you pay monthly:

• We’ll take the first payment on the day your policy renews.

Once payment is complete, we’ll confirm by email. You can then view your renewed policy documents in the Marshmallow app or your online account.

How to stop your policy from renewing

You can turn off auto-renewal at any time if you don’t want your policy to continue. To do this in the Marshmallow app:

• Open the app and select your policy.
• Tap Manage at the top of the screen.
• Scroll to Renewal information.
• Tap Manage renewal and follow the steps.
