Our founders started Marshmallow from the lobby of a gym, armed with a vision, intermittent WiFi, and a lot of determination. That passion and drive has stayed consistent, but our surroundings now look a little bit different!
Today, our London office is in Old Street, where most of our Senior Leadership, Tech, Claims, and HQ teams are based.

The space
The office has dedicated spaces for focused work, team collaboration and company-wide meetings. The building has bike storage, showers, a cafe, and a roof terrace for the summer.
A street food vendor serves lunch in the office once a week, and the kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea and snacks.

Hybrid working
Most of our teams are in the office three days a week. We know that the best work happens when we see each other in person, and we use that time together for alignment, debate, and the kind of decision-making that's harder to do remotely.
Office days have a social side too, whether that's team lunches or company events that help us connect.
Flexibility
For roles with standard hours, you're trusted to manage your day around your meetings and commitments. As long as you're delivering and available to collaborate with your team, you can flex day to day.
If you're joining Claims Operations or a shift-based role, your hours will be more clearly defined, so check the role-specific details before applying.
International teams
Alongside our London HQ, we have a home in Budapest. A lot of our teams span both locations, so working internationally is part of how we operate day to day. Where possible, we make space for teams to come together in person.
