In short, yes!
If you wish to change over from the Marshmallow Original plan to our Marshmallow Essential plan at renewal, you will need to get in touch with one of our friendly agents via Live Chat, and they will change your plan for you.
You can start a live chat through the app, or the Help page on our website.
If you have a Plus plan policy, we cannot currently downgrade this at renewal.
Changing to our Essential plan will decrease your annual premium 🎉
However, some features are not included on our Essential plan. Please see below:
Please note that the cancellation charge is different depending on your plan type. The cancellation fee for your policy could be between £60-£125 depending on when you purchased a policy and the policy plan you are on. For confirmation please review your policy wording which can be accessed in the document section of your app.
If your policy hasn't yet started, or it started less than 14 days ago, we charge a £30 admin fee. These charges cover the costs we incur in cancelling your policy.
